This article is for you if you need to avoid double-booking equipment or rooms when booking appointments.
1. What is equipment?
Equipment can be anything you want to avoid double-booking when booking appointments — like a room or specific equipment — for example, a Hair laser, a Tattoo chair, Room #101, etc.
2. Booking an appointment with a selected equipment:

Open a new appointment creation screen.

Provide appointment details like client, date, time, service provider, and services.

Notice that there is the Equipment dropdown to select:

It is visible only if you have equipment in your account.

It can be preselected automatically from services if you have set the required equipment on the service level.

Finish by clicking "Save"

3. Warning about already booked equipment
The warning message will be displayed if you or another team member tries creating another appointment with the same equipment simultaneously.

4. Add equipment and updated services with it

Login to your appointible account.

Click on your profile picture.

Click on "Equipment"

5. Click on the "Create equipment" button

6. Creating new equipment

Type in the name of the equipment.

Optional: If your business has multiple locations, select where the equipment is being used.

Finish by clicking "Save"

7. Update service with the equipment
-
Click on your profile picture.
-
Click on "Services"
-
Edit an existing service or create a new service.

Select the required equipment with the given service in the Required Equipment section.

Optional: if your business has multiple locations, you can select the required equipment for every location.

Click "Save"

The selected equipment will be automatically booked when creating new appointments with the given service.
