Note that you should be on the Appointible Pro plan to have access to the appointment confirmation by text (SMS) feature.
Important for the Appointible Pro plan users:

With the Appointible Pro plan, you have two-way text messages, allowing your clients to reply to received reminders.

Client reminders can be sent outside the US and Canada.

Multiple client reminders can be configured. E.g., 24 hours and 1 hour before appointment.

1. Navigate to Appointible Apps

Log in to your account.

Click "Addons" in the main menu.
Note: You should have Apps permission.

2. Find the "Client Reminders" app and click the "Configure" button

3. Create a new or edit an existing client reminder

By default, your account will have a single client reminder rule created after signup. Click on it or the pencil symbol to edit an existing client reminder rule.

Click the "New rule" button to create a new client reminder.

4. Update client reminder text

Make sure that the "Is automation rule enabled?" is ON.

Update reminder text message to ask the client to reply. For example, "To confirm, reply with Yes, and to cancel, reply with No."

Note that you can use any text.

5. Update client reminder to update appointment status after a client reply is received

First, select the "From phone number" dropdown to your dedicated phone number.

Then the "Allow confirming the appointment by" dropdown should be set to "SMS reply".

6. Configure expected reply text messages

First, in the "Allow confirming appointments by" dropdown, select "SMS reply".

Type in your expected reply keywords (e.g., Yes/No) that will confirm and cancel the appointment.

Finish by clicking "Save"
